Ofer Grossman

Ofer Grossman has a PhD from MIT in theoretical computer science. He has been a member of the Israeli IMO team, and placed in the top 15 in the Putnam Competition. Ofer is an instructor for the SPARC summer camp, and has instructed at the Israeli IMO team training camp.

Yang Liu

Yang Liu is an assistant professor of computer science at Carnegie Mellon University. Previously he did his PhD in theoretical computer science at Stanford. He has placed second in MathCounts and earned gold medals for the USA at the 2014 and 2015 IMOs. He also was a USA Computing Olympiad Finalist in 2014 and 2015. He was the USA IMO Deputy Leader in 2019 and 2025.

Allen Liu

Allen Liu is currently a PhD student in theoretical computer science at MIT. He earned IMO gold medals for the USA in 2014 and 2015, as well as the 2016 IMO where he got a perfect score.

Tomer Grossman

Tomer Grossman is currently a PhD student in theoretical computer science at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Previously he did his bachelors degree in mathematics at Cornell University.

Mark
Mark Sellke (Advisor)

Mark Sellke is an assistant professor at Harvard department of statistics. Previously he did his PhD in mathematics at Stanford. He has won MathCounts and the Putnam, and earned gold medals for the USA at the 2013 and 2014 IMOs. Mark’s research is in probability and theoretical computer science/machine learning. Mark has enjoyed giving back to the math contest community by teaching/grading at MOP and writing several TST(ST) problems.
